Thursday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Thursday morning …

Miami players current and past seem pleased with the hire of Mark Richt as the new Canes coach. Richt should make Miami immediately competitive in the ACC Coastal division where you don’t have to go through Clemson and Florida State every season to reach the league championship game.

Allen kind of came from left field as Arkansas suddenly starting passing the ball. Kelly led the most wins including one at Alabama. In head-to-head matchups Kelly out-played Dak and kept pace with Allen. Clearly, Kelly finished the regular season with the most momentum.

With Kirby Smart set to become coach at Georgia, here’s some speculation as to what his coaching staff might look like. .

So how will Smart ultimately compare with other Saban assistants who have become head coaches? …
