Errol Robinson first-team All-American

With the opening of college baseball just a few weeks away there’s not a lot of buzz about Ole Miss right now.

Though national analyst Kendall Rogers has had good things to say about the Rebels they didn’t make the cut in’s preseason top 25. Seven other SEC teams did.

However, the Rebels did get some attention today when the website named junior shortstop Errol Robinson a first-team preseason All-American.

Robinson hit .297 last year with a .376 on-base percentage.

While the Rebels aren’t ranked by D1 Baseball right now, it’s worth noting that the 2014 College World Series team also didn’t generate a lot of preseason buzz.
