Question of the Day: Which 5-star would you take?

Ole Miss has two 247Sports recruits already taking classes in quarterback Shea Patterson and defensive tackle Benito Jones.

The Rebels have a commitment from five-star offensive tackle Greg Little and appear to be in good position to possibly sign five-star defensive end Jeffery Simmons of Noxubee County.

If they could sign only one which one would it be and why? Leave your logic below.

I’m going to say….Jeffrey Simmons. This kid is a game changer. He was a 4-star until after his performance in the Alabama-Mississippi All Star game which earned him another bright shiny star.
This could be the best recruiting class in the history of Ole Miss football, Ooo Rah!!!

Excellent points. Ole Miss could use another game-changing pass rusher alongside Marquise Haynes. I would take Shea Patterson based on his position. Elite quarterbacks are harder to find than most other positions. You can find guys to run and catch in the South. You can develop offensive linemen. When you put an elite quarterback in the middle of them you can build something special. I like Simmons a lot, and it sounds like Ole Miss has a lot of momentum with him right now.

Sorry P.A. I thought you meant ”which 5-star left on the big board” would you take.
Of course, out of ALL of ’em I’d have to say Shea.

I was just lumping them all together. Simmons will be a big get if he signs.

Who’s greg allen? Do you mean Greg Little from Allen, Tx?
If So I’d take Greg Little, Elite LT’s don’t grow on trees, the entire offense runs off of the LT in this offense when that position isn’t solid the offense doesn’t click. See games 1-7 2015.

I think the more intriguing question with approx. 5 spots left and still looking to land Juarez or Hall which of those two would you take? Cause you still need to add Anderson, Knott/Carter, Brown and Simmons (Little is already in the barn).

My bad. Greg Allen was a good friend in elementary school. Listening to those recruits talk yesterday they think they are in good position with Anderson.

They had better grab them quickly before time runs out – NCAA investigations are heating up.
