Many mock drafts across the Internet landscape have the Titans taking Laremy Tunsil with the No. 1 pick.
ESPN analyst Mel Kiper is in the group. Tunsil at No. 1 is an idea that hasn’t lost momentum in combine conversations here.
The Titans just hired a new GM, Jon Robinson, in January.
He didn’t lay the Titans’ plans on the table but did say the club would entertain a trade if everything came together to their liking.
He also gives some early impressions on Tunsil.
“He’s played a lot of football in the SEC,” Robinson said.
Some of the questioning danced around the idea that the Titans would draft a left tackle, and Tunsil is the most highest-rated player at the combine, and Robinson answered with the caution you would expect.
“Whatever decision we finalize in April we just want to come out of it a better football team,” Robinson said. “That’s the most important thing.”
