Wide receivers will come through the interview room today.
This piece from one NFL.com writer ranks Laquon Treadwell as the No. 2 wide receiver prospect. Some mock drafts have Treadwell as the first receiver off the board, though the class isn’t considered deep at the position.
It seems to be Treadwell and Baylor’s Corey Coleman seem to be the picks for the top end of the class.
Speed is the primary difference between the two. Treadwell has said he will not run the 40 here.
According to NFL.com draft grades, Treadwell’s 6.2 leads all receivers. Coleman and Notre Dame’s Will Fuller are next with 6.1 draft grades.
Those three are the only receivers to score at least 6.0.
MSU wide receiver De’Runnya Wilson turned out to be the tallest receiver at the combine when measurements were taken this morning.
#NFLCombine WR measurements
Tallest: De'Runnya Wilson (6-4 5/8)
Shortest: Bralon Addison (5-9 1/4)
Wilson has a 5.4 draft grade and is rated No. 17 at the position.
Ole Miss’ Cody Core has a draft grade of 4.9 which puts him No. 47 out of 52 wide receivers listed.
