Rebels Rise

A comeback from a six-run deficit against Memphis set the table for what would become a 4-0 week after a sweep of Ball State, Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati.

As a result, the Rebels jumped four spots from the No. 17 to No. 13 in the latest rankings.

This certainly has been an entertaining past two weeks. Who would’ve thought the Rebels could beat THE #2 team 2 out of 3 and then go on to win 3 on the road? I hope it’s not all gang busters at the first of the season and then down the stretch the guys can’t ‘buy a hit’.

    Enjoy the moment. :))

K_B could this be the year for your Rebels? from:Oxford Eagle

Chad Kelly insisted it wasn’t a tough decision to put the NFL off and return to Ole Miss for his final season.

“I really want to win an SEC championship and a national championship,” Kelly said.

Why not? Might have happened last season had it not been for a ‘freak play’ in the Arkansas game.
JB…if you’re going to ask me a question, do it under MY post with the ‘reply’. Otherwise, I might not come back to this article. :))

ok K_B i saw in the oxford eagle where Kelley was really excited about the coming season looking for the SEC championship and possible the national title as well. i hope I am addressing you so that you can reply – this will probably appear on PA blog To, i post Disqus where I am a member and some how or another my post pops up on PA, blog It dosen’t matter I have posted on PA blog way back before Orgeron days at Ole Miss I guess during the Billy Brewer era. Kelley is a good one and a is coach Kennedy and his basketball team – Diamond rebels great and could be on the way to Omaha – but on their way they must go thru the #1 Florida Gators, LSU and Vandy. Wishing you a very good day, JB
