Rebels Rise

After a 4-1 week that included a road series win at Tennessee to start SEC play Ole Miss has risen one notch to No. 8 in the Top 25. No. 14 South Carolina, which swept Arkansas in Columbia over the weekend, visits this week for a Thursday-Saturday series.

Ole MIss deserving this No.8 ranking or even a higher one, They have a 19-2 season record the best start for the Rebels since the early 2002 seasons, one of those lose to then the No.6 ranked team Louisville and rebels swept that series and the other lose to Tenn this weekend. They have very good in pitching and good hitting as well. The No. 1 Florida Gators have only one lose and I consider Ole Miss almost as good as Gators or even could be a better team, we shall see later on in the Season should both teams make it to the SEC tournament at Hoover. Gators are loaded with Freshmen but they have an outstanding pitching corp to help those freshmen along.
