Knights.
The Lady Indians hit the road for the long trip and took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning of game one, when Neely Grubbs singled to lead off the game and scored later when Alexis Freeman grounded out to shortstop.
IAHS would plate another run in the top of the sixth inning when Brianna Moore drove a one-out single and scored when Brittany Sullivan hit into a fielder’s choice.
The Lady Indians fought valiantly, but dropped a hard-fought decision, 3-2.
In game two, the Lady Indians started off with a bang when McKenzie Coleman blasted a solo home run in the first inning.
Unfortunately, the Lady Knights would take up the offensive slack that both teams had previously been lacking and took game two in a rout, 10-1, to sweep the series 2-0 and eliminate the Lady Indians.
