started the season on a tear, managing to keep their perfect record intact through the Thanksgiving break.

The Indians, already boasting early-season wins over Houlka, Hamilton and Lewisburg, held on to knock off host New Albany, 55-47, during the New Albany Thanksgiving Tournament, last Tuesday night. This pushed their season record to 4-0.

The 4-0 start is the program’s best in recent history, and the Indians will look to improve on it this week with matchups at North Pontotoc, followed by an appearance in the Tishowamba Bi-County Tournament in Mantachie this weekend.

Tristan Crowder led the way for IAHS in their win over New Albany with 14 points.

Austin King dominated the glass with 13 rebounds and recorded two blocks, while Jaden Smith added five assists and Cameron Orr swatted a pair of shots.

Alondra Gordon scored a game-high 15 points and added four rebounds.

Jada Ashby had four rebounds, while Jade Parker also grabbed four boards and also tallied a block.

Amber Kelton also had a steal for the Lady Indians.
