Constance Dunn is now making an impact for the Lady Indians of the ICC variety.

Dunn was an instrumental part of IAHS’s success during her time there, including a state championship in 2014, and has broke onto the scene for ICC just four games into the season.

Dunn averaged just under three points per game off the bench, for the first four games of the season, but broke into the starting lineup last week and has scored 12 and 14 points in her two starts, while shooting around 40-percent from the field and has been perfect from the free throw line.

Despite her limited role in the first few games of the season, Dunn is the top-scoring freshman on Nanci Gray’s squad.

In her first start, Dunn scored 12 points against fourth-ranked Shelton State, then followed it up with a 14-point outing against Arkansas State Mid-South on 6-of-8 shooting, and was a perfect two-for-two from behind the three point arc, while also grabbing three rebounds and recording a steal.

With her versatility and athleticism, the recent success could just be the tip of the iceberg for Dunn.

The Lady Indians will return home today for a matchup with Wallace-Selma and will also host Motlow State on Saturday, as Dunn tries to continue her strong play.
