World salsa champion Felipe Telona Jr., is making his first trip to Tupelo to teach salsa lessons at The Dance Studio. A fun salsa class is on schedule for 6:45 p.m. Friday for $10, with a party following for $5.
Saturday and Sunday are full of workshops, including ones on swing, Argentine tango and rumba, cha cha and mambo.
Prices vary for the classes and there are deals for combining classes. A rhythm-swing party will be at 8 p.m. Saturday and is free for workshop attendees, $10 for non-attendees. For more info, call Tammy Wilson at (662) 842-2242.
West of Shake Rag to host Halloween comedy show
Costumes are welcome at this weekend’s West of Shake Rag Halloween show.
The show will feature the group’s award-winning improv as well as a costume contest.
Tickets are $5, and the show is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Link Centre’s Black Box Theatre.

Theatrical terrors on stage at TCT’s Haunted Theatre
The Lyric is turned into a fright fest at this year’s Tupelo Community Theatre Haunted Theatre.
The Haunted Theatre will be open 7-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 7-10 tonight.
Tickets are $10.
It’s not recommended for children under 10.

Haunted Castle closes season with music
The Haunted Castle in Skyline is closing its Halloween season with a bit of music.
The castle, located at 3201 East Main St. in Skyline, is open 6 p.m. – until on Friday and Saturday. It’s $10. Honorable Mention and Again with Heart will perform this weekend at the Haunted Castle.

Healthy Halloween set for Monday at Powerhouse
Face painting, games, arts and crafts and more are on the schedule for Healthy Halloween at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center in Oxford.
The event begins at 4 p.m. Monday and is free.
