GumTree Museum hosts
Blue Tie Affair fundraiser
Art, food, wine and auctions combine at the Blue Tie Affair fundraiser for the GumTree Museum of Art.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at the Tupelo Country Club. The Alan Stephens Band will perform, and there will be decorations by Tracy Proctor. The night also includes live and silent art auctions.

All Star Dance Weekend

All Star Dance and Dance Shoes of Tennessee are presenting an All Star Dance Weekend with Jenell Maranto, Robbie Greenwood, Tammy Wilson, Liz Martin, Curt and Wendy Johnson and Daniel Stevenson the weekend of Jan. 20-22.
The weekend will take place at The Dance Studio in Tupelo.
The All Star Dance Weekend is $168 and includes a Friday night dance party, classes and dance party on Saturday and a box lunch and buffet dinner. Three levels of classes are offered.

Shake Rag comedy troupe
stages ‘Real Shakers’ show
Tupelo’s own West of Shake Rag is taking on trash TV with its new improv show, “The Real Shakers of Lee County.”
The comedy team will tackle interventions, fights and gossip, and anything else they can dream up.
The show is 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Link Centre.
Tickets are $5, and that includes refreshments.
