Rock ‘n’ roll all night
Monday night will rock, thanks to a Hawthorne Heights concert in Tupelo.
The rock band is performing at Goodtime Charlie’s with Vifolly, Forever and Never, Seeking Seven and Taller Than Giants.
It’s $10/advance, $15/day of show.
The show starts at 7 p.m. and is an all-ages event.

‘Kids on Broadway’ set for Saturday
The Pied Piper Playhose presents “Kids on Broadway,” a song and dance revue featuring songs from Broadway and TV musicals.
Performances are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, followed by an ice cream social, which is a fundraiser for Pied Piper.
The show will be at Goodlett Manor. In case of rain, the performance will move to The Lyric Theatre and the ice cream social will follow at Goodlett Manor.

‘Annie’ takes the stage in Corinth
Corinth Theatre-Arts presents the musical “Annie” this weekend.
The musical, based on the comic strip, is full of famous tunes like “Tomorrow,” “Maybe” and “Hard Knock Life.”
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crossroads Playhouse. Tickets are $12/adults and $6/students.

SCT season opens with ‘See How They Run!’
Starkville Community Theatre’s 35th season begins this weekend with the British farce, “See How They Run!”
Directed by Brenda Mayo, the play will be presented nightly at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8-10 and 13-17, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15/adults, $10/students.

Eudora Welty’s photographs on display
“Eudora Welty in Context: Representing Race in New Deal Photography,” is open at McComas Gallery and will run through Oct. 28.
