Irish dancing comes to arena
in Riverdance show next week
Riverdance is on its final tour of the U.S., and it’s making a stop in Tupelo.
The international Irish dance smash will be staged at the BancorpSouth Arena at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Arm Chair Traveler series
features speaker on Ireland
The Lee County Library’s Arm Chair Traveler series, at which travelers share their educational vacation stories, continues this month with Mary Jo Tate discussing her recent trip to Ireland.
Tate will share photos and stories of her trip overseas. It’s a free lecture, and it starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alternative rockers Lemonheads
have a gig at Proud Larry’s
One of the most beloved 90s rock bands, The Lemonheads, is set to perform at Proud Larry’s tonight.
The Lemonheads’ hits include “Into Your Arms,” “It’s a Shame About Ray” and a cover of “Mrs. Robinson.”
Tickets are $12, and the show starts at 9:30 tonight. It’s an 18 and up show.

Itawamba Players opens
‘Beauty and the Beast’ tonight
The “tale as old as time” is coming to Fulton.
The Itawamba Players will present the Disney version of “Beauty and the Beast” this weekend at the Old Fulton Grammar School.
Show times are 7 p.m. tonight and Friday, and 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday.
