Members of Tupelo Community Theatre’s Lyric Krewe, invite everyone to take part in the “Music, Monet and Margaritas” fundraiser from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.
Saturday at the Lyric Theatre on Broadway Street.

– The Tupelo Automobile Museum’s “Corvette Summer” exhibit will be on display until Saturday.

Workshop will cover acting, dancing, more
– A musical theater workshop for ages 4 to kindergarten will run from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday at Tupelo Academy of Dance Arts.
First-grade students will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. The workshop will focus on singing, dancing and acting, and the fee is $125.

Mathus, others will perform at festival today, Saturday
– Jimbo Mathus will present “Mosquitoville,” a collection of stories about Mississippi and its myths.
The show will be staged at 7 p.m. today at the Lyric Theatre on Oxford, and tickets are $10.
It’s part of the Oxford Rhythm Revival, which will continue at 7 p.m. Saturday on the Oxford Square. There will vendors, artists and musicians. Tickets for Saturday are $15/at today’s Lyric event or $20/at the gate.

Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ coming to Ford Center
– The Oxford Shakespeare Festival will feature “Hamlet” at 8 p.m. Saturday at the University of Mississippi’s Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
