Country singer and Mississippi native Ty Brown is returning to his home state for a show at Rick’s Cafe in Starkville.
Brown has been living in Nashville for a while now, growing his music career. The Mississippi
State University alum also spent some time in California, where he was a contestant on the sixth season of “The Bachelorette.” Brown’s show is 8 p.m. Friday at Rick’s in Starkville and is an 18 and over show.

Pied Piper seeking actors for ‘Oz’ show
Pied Piper Playhouse needs young actors for the musical, “Oz” based on L. Frank Baum’s “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.”
Auditions will be 2 p.m. Sunday and 6:30 p.m. Monday at Milam Elementary School auditorium.
