Hank Boerner, director of North Mississippi Medical Center Wellness Centers in Tupelo, Baldwyn and Pontotoc, recently received the Medical Fitness Association’s Don Schneider Distinguished Service Award.
The award was presented earlier this month at the 16th annual MFA conference in San Diego, Calif. Boerner joined the association in 1993 and served on the board of directors from 2000 to 2010, including stints as state captain, conference chairman, secretary, treasurer, chairman-elect, chairman and past chairman.
The Don Schneider Distinguished Service Award is given for exceptional, long-term volunteers service to the association and the medical fitness industry. A nonprofit organization founded in 1991, the association is the leading organization dedicated solely to medically integrated fitness facilities and the medical fitness industry.
