Fall Festivals

Kingsley Chapel Baptist Church will have its annual Fall Festival today. A yard sale will begin at 7 a.m. Activities include a dunking booth, apple bobbing, dart throw (balloons), go fish and a cake walk. Food will be served beginning at noon. The First United Methodist Church in Tupelo will offer a 10-week workshop for individuals who are divorced, divorcing, separated or recovering from a broken relationship. Classes will begin at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 6. The fee is $30 (scholarships are available) and preregistration is required. First Baptist Church of Belmont will celebrate three anniversaries during their homecoming celebration on Nov. 26. These are the 125th anniversary of the church; the 35th year of Jack Maroon as pastor; and Bro. Maroon’s 50th year in the ministry.
