Cirque du Soleil’s “Drailon” show coming to Tupelo

Cirque du Soleil returns to the BancorpSouth Arena this September, with a new show, “Dralion.”

The dates are Sept. 6-8.

Here’s info from the Cirque website: “Fusing the 3000 year-old tradition of Chinese acrobatic arts with the multidisciplinary approach of Cirque du Soleil, Dralion draws its inspiration from Eastern philosophy and its never-ending quest for harmony between humans and nature. The show’s name is derived from its two emblematic creatures: the dragon, symbolizing the East, and the lion, symbolizing the West.”

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. To learn more, visit the BancorpSouth Arena website.
