CORINTH – A blues show is one of the highlight events to be presented at the Crossroads Arena during the next six months.

General Manager Tammy Genovese told the Corinth Area Convention and Visitors Bureau board during their Wednesday meeting that blues singer Bobby Rush and Sir Charles Jones, a blues and ‘Southern Soul’ singer, will headline a show scheduled for Nov. 8.

They are working to secure contracts with two other major artists for performances between September and December, she said.

Other events scheduled through the fall include the Alcorn County Fair, WIN Job Fair, an Indian Artifacts Show, ACE Electric expo, Rotary Basket Giveaway, Magnolia Regional Health Center Winter Wonderland and a number of private events.
