Jennings-Stupka
The parents of Jeanie Jennings and Caleb Stupka announce the engagement of their children.
The bride-elect is the daughter of David Jennings of Pontotoc, and Scottie and Linda Parker of Mooreville. She is the granddaughter of Dean and Judy Jennings of Pontotoc, Gerald and Jean Sims of Pontotoc, and Virbelene Parrish of Tishomingo.
She is a graduate of Faith Christian School of Guntown. She is a student at Itawamba Community College, where she is working on her degree in nursing and diagnostic medical sonography. She is a secretary and nursing assistant at Magnolia Manor in Tupelo.
The prospective groom is the son of Paul and Sunni Stupka of Baldwyn, and Beverly Stupka of Memphis. He is the grandson of Tim and Venie Kenney of Wyoming, Jake and Shirlene Sanders of Tupelo, and Mac and Mary McKinney of Memphis.
He is a graduate of Faith Christian School of Guntown. He is a student at Itawamba Community College, where he is working on his degree in criminal justice. He is an employee of RTO Construction in Tupelo.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. July 18, 2009, at Black Zion Baptist Church of Pontotoc. A reception will follow at the church. Family and friends are invited.

Jones-Sholes
Donna and Glen Jones of Aberdeen announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Anna Jones, to Tyler Scott Sholes, son of Susan and Doug Sholes of Gulfport.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary and James Boyd of Aberdeen, and Charles and Hester Jones of LeHigh Acres, Fla.
She is a graduate of Tupelo High School. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. She was a member of the MSU Concert Choir and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She is enrolled in the University of Tennessee-Memphis Medical School, pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Marjorie Sholes of Gulfport and the late George Sholes, and Cile and Ralph Shaw of Gulfport.
He is a graduate of Gulfport High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering at Mississippi State University. At MSU he was a member of Lambda Sigma Honor Society and Institute of Transportation Engineers and the worship leader for Campus Crusade for Christ.
The couple will exchange vows at 11 a.m. July 25, 2009, at Bellingrath Gardens Chapel. A reception will follow in the gardens. Family and friends are invited.

Wesson-Stewart
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wesson of Tupelo announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Brooke Wesson, to Walter Clayton Stewart Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clayton Stewart Sr. of Tupelo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. Dale and Inge Carr of Mooreville, and Barbara Wesson of Saltillo and the late Gene Wesson.
She is a 2005 honor graduate of Tupelo High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Anchor Club, varsity volleyball team and varsity soccer team. She is a 2007 graduate of Itawamba Community College with an associate of arts degree. She was a member of the dean’s list at ICC. She is a May 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in clinical exercise physiology and will continue her education in physical therapy. She is a member of Kappa Delta Phi exercise science honor society.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Clayton R. “Buddy” and Dot Stewart, and the late James and Elizabeth Bain, all of Tupelo.
He is a 2005 graduate of Tupelo High School, where he was a member of the varsity soccer team, varsity baseball team, varsity football team, the Wave Connection and the Key Club. He is a 2007 graduate of Itawamba Community College with an associate of arts degree. At ICC he was a member of the Indian soccer team. He is a student at Mississippi State University and will graduate in December with a bachelor of science degree in clinical exercise physiology. At MSU he is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. July 25, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo. A reception will follow. Family and friends are invited.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, they will live in Starkville.

Stone-Armstrong
Karla and Gary Stone of Baldwyn announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Laine Stone, to Nicholas Thomas Armstrong, son of Becky and Tommy Armstrong of Baldwyn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy and John Roellgen, and Elaine and Earl Stone, all of Baldwyn.
She is a 2003 graduate of Baldwyn High School. She earned an associate degree in radiologic technology at Northeast Mississippi Community College and an associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography at Itawamba Community College. She is a registered sonographer and radiologic technologist at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Kathleen and Leon Armstrong of Brewer, and the late Sara Nell and Hollis Smith of Baldwyn.
He is a 2002 graduate of Baldwyn High School. He attended Northeast Mississippi Community College, then transferred to Mississippi State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in microbiology and a master of business administration degree.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. July 25, 2009, at Friendship Baptist Church in Baldwyn. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stone. Family and friends are invited.
Roy-Thomas
Johnny and Janet Roy of Booneville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Marie Roy, to Seth Lamar Thomas, son of Mark and Becky Thomas of Marietta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Floyd Roy of Booneville and the late Louise Roy, and the late Leonard and Pauline Rinehart of Booneville.
She is a 2008 graduate of New Site High School. She is attending Northeast Mississippi Community College, where she is majoring in math education.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Billy and Lanova Bellamy of Booneville and the late Lucy Bellamy, and Clarence and Lou Thomas of Marietta.
He is a 2007 graduate of New Site High School. He earned a degree in industrial maintenance at Northeast Mississippi Community College, where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He is an employed of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Carr-Mize
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lyndal Carr Jr. of Tupelo announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Lyndal Carr, to Paul Eugene Mize III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Mize Jr. of Tupelo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lyndal Carr Sr. of Vicksburg, and Lamar Tracy Loe and Georgia Cook Loe, both of Jackson.
She is an honor graduate of Tupelo High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Anchor Club. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of accountancy degree. She was a member of Gamma Beta Phi, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Kappa Delta Sorority. She is a division accountant for the Carpenter Company in Tupelo.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jack Raymond Reed Sr. of Tupelo and the late Frances Purvis Reed, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eugene Mize Sr. of Fulton.
He is a 2002 honor graduate of Tupelo High School. He played soccer for three years and earned the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouts. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of business administration degree. He was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is a loan officer at BancorpSouth in Tupelo.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. July 25, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Tupelo. A reception will follow at the home of the groom’s parents.

Johnson-Spivey
Randy Johnson of Tupelo and Julie Whitehead of Round Rock, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Callie Marie Johnson, to Kyle David Spivey, son of David and Leslie Spivey of Calhoun City.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Roger and Peggy Johnson of Tupelo, and Nelva Lee Johnson of Tupelo and the late Hollis Johnson.
She is a 2005 honor graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School in Fulton, where she was elected Best Personality. She was a member of Big Brothers-Big Sisters, National Honor Society and Students Against Destructive Decisions. She finished prerequisites for elementary education at Itawamba Community College, then attended Mississippi State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. At ICC she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. At MSU she was a summa cum laude graduate and a member of Future Educators Association. She is a teacher at Joyner Elementary School.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Jewel Spivey of Calhoun City and the late James Spivey, and Patricia Moser of Jasper, Ala., and the late Patricia Moser.
He is a 2004 graduate of Calhoun City High School, where he was a four-year member of the Wildcat baseball team and the marching band. He attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Mississippi State University. He is an employee of AutoZone in Tupelo.
The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m. July 25, 2009, at the Family Worship Center in Mantachie. A reception will follow in the Life Center. Family and friends are invited.
