Mr. and Mrs. Richard Henderson Molpus Jr. of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Helen Nash Molpus, to William Lowrey Crews Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lowrey Crews of Tupelo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arliss Young Nash of Corinth, and the late Richard Henderson Molpus Sr. and Mrs. Richard Henderson Molpus Sr. of Philadelphia.
She is a graduate of Murrah High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Furman University and a master’s degree in Southern studies from the University of Mississippi.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Martha Ann Burke of Jackson and Robert Oliver Burke Sr. of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Dr. and Mrs. John David Crews of Oxford.
He is a graduate of Tupelo High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Vanderbilt University.
The couple will exchange vows on Oct. 10, 2009.

Springer-Langlois
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert E. Springer Sr. of Decatur, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rena Nicole Springer, to Joshua Sheridan Langlois, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cleveland Jr. of Baton Rouge, La.
The bride-elect’s mother is the former Nona L. Kelso of Amory. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rena Hester of Wren and the late Carl Winford Hester Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Max W. Kelso of Southaven.
She is a graduate of Austin High School in Decatur, Ala., where she was a member of the French Club, Marine Biology Club, A-Club and the volleyball team. She earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology with a minor in sociology at Louisiana State University. She is employed in the Fluor Construction Quality Assurance Department at Garyville Marathon Expansion Project in Garyville, La.
The prospective groom is the grandson of J.C. Langlois of New Roads, La., and the late Patsy Langlois, the late Maxine Gardiner of Baton Rouge, and the late Gaynor Gardiner of Marksville, La.
He is a graduate of University High School in Baton Rouge, where he played football. He attended Louisiana Technical University, where he played football, and he graduated from Louisiana State University. He is a project manager at W.T. Construction in Baton Rouge.

Willis-Steward
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Willis of Baldwyn announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Paige Willis, to Joshua Shane Steward, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Steward of Pontotoc.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Danny and Doris Thompson of Baldwyn, the late Danny Willis of Skyline, and Harold and Billie Pharr of Marietta.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies at the University of Mississippi. She was a member of the National Scholars Honor Society and the Legal Studies Student Association. She is an employee of Colbert Land Services, Oil and Gas Abstracting in Houston.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Herron and Inola Walker of Pontotoc, and Effie Steward of Randolph and the late James Steward.
He is a graduate of South Pontotoc High School in Pontotoc, where he played baseball and football. He earned an associate degree in business marketing and management technology at Itawamba Community College in Fulton. He is an engineering technician at Pontotoc Springs in Pontotoc.

Murphy-Roberts
Murry and Cindy Murphy of Baldwyn announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Murphy, to Cory Roberts, son of Gary and Connie Roberts of Baldwyn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pauline Murphy and the late Merle Murphy, and the late Gene and Margaret Philpot, all of Baldwyn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Miriam Young of La Pace, La., and the late Otha Young, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Taylor Sr. of New Orleans.
She is a 2001 graduate of Richland High School in Richland. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a 2008 graduate of the University of South Alabama. She is pursuing a doctorate in nursing at the University of South Alabama. She is a registered nurse in the ICU at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, La.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Helen and James Robinson of Tupelo, the late Rev. Floyd Hodges of Belden, and Elizabeth Beckley of Belden and the late E.L. Beckley.
He is a 2001 graduate of Tupelo High School. He is a 2005 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a 2008 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Occupational Therapy. He is an occupational therapist at Rehab at Work Physical and Occupational Therapy in Columbus.
