‰ There will be a free reception from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the GumTree Museum of Art to honor “Impressions,” a collection of work by students at Lee County Schools.

There will be displays at 10 a.m. Friday and from 11:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the Longtown Medical Park atrium in Tupelo.

TSO performs two premieres, one masterpiece
‰ Tupelo Symphony Orchestra will feature a Mississippi premiere, a world premiere and Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9 in D Minor,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Tupelo Civic Auditorium.
Tickets are $25/general admission and $10/students.
The Link Culinary Arts Program will provide a pre-concert meal of lamb chops, asparagus and more from 5 to 7 p.m. before the concert at Link Centre. That cost is $30 per person.

Guthrie brings ‘Lost’ tour to Ford Center
‰ Folk singer Arlo Guthrie will bring his “Lost World Tour” to the University of Mississippi on Monday for a performance at the Gertrude C. Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are $25/general admission seating, with discounts available before the day of the performance for Ole Miss students.
