‰ Everyone’s invited to a reception from 4 to 6 p.m. today at GumTree Museum of Art.
Sponsored by the Daily Journal, the reception honors the Tupelo Public School District students who contributed to “Shared Treasures,” an exhibit on display until Saturday.

Film series focuses
on furniture factory
‰ The Independent Film Series will feature “With These Hands: The Story of an American Furniture Factory.”

Tupelo Ballet will
present ‘Snow White’
‰ Tupelo Ballet will present “Snow White and Friends” at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tupelo Civic Auditorium.

There will be a Snow White Tea Party from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Tupelo Middle School cafeteria.

‰ The Charles Templeton Ragtime Jazz Festival will run Friday and Saturday at Mississippi State University.
