NETTLETON – The Nettleton Christmas Parade, which is sponsored by the Friends of Nettleton and the Nettleton Volunteer Fire Department, will be held on Monday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m.

According to Nettleton City Clerk Dana Burcham, last year’s parade had 80 participants, and applications are still being taking for this year’s parade.

Several floats and first-responder units have already signed up, and Itawamba Community College’s marching band will also be in the parade’s lineup. Santa Claus will be the star of the parade, and he’ll be throwing candy out for the children.

The parade will begin at the Nettleton High School, making its way through the city and past city hall before ending in front of Tiffany’s Dance Studio.

For more information or to register, call Burcham at the Nettleton City Hall at 963-2605 or 523-0290.
