TUPELO – The holiday season is off to a good start for the Regional Rehabilitation Center.
On Sunday, the Celebration of Hope raised more than $197,000 and donations are still coming in from the annual event held at The Mall at Barnes Crossing, said executive director Kay Mathews.
The Tupelo-based non-profit provides free physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and audiological services to a 25-county region in North Mississippi.
On Monday, the Northeast branch of APAC, a Mississippi road construction firm, donated a 2005 Dodge Durango to the center. The vehicle will be used by staff to travel on center business.
