Seven books to help anxiety sufferers

Dear Dr. Morris: Would you recommend some books on anxiety and dealing with nervousness? E.N., Corinth.
These books have been very helpful to a number of my clients:
n “Beyond the Relaxation Response” by Herbert Benson (Times Books);
n “Feeling Good” by David Burns (Signet);
n “Hope and Help For Your Nerves” by Claire Weekes (Bantam);
n “Peace From Nervous Suffering,” also by Claire Weekes (Bantam);
n “The Relaxation Response” by Herbert Benson (Avon);
n “Women Who Marry Houses” by Robert Seidenberg and Karen DeCrow (McGraw-Hill).
The best book that I have seen lately which focuses on anxiety is titled “Free From Fears” by Ann Seagraves and Faison Covington (Poseidon Press, $16.95).
