TUPELO – Celebrate spring and the North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra with Spring Variations and Vibrations.

The North Mississippi Symphony League will host the fundraiser Friday night at the Tupelo Country Club, and it’ll include an auction, music, dancing and food.

“This is our major fundraiser,” said league president, Tish Horton. “Our goal is to exceed $10,000.”

All proceeds from the auction and ticket sales will support the symphony.

Items that will be auctioned include a rug from the Cotton Bolt, a guitar from Buxton Music in Aberdeen, a chair from Premier Fabrics, jewelry, spa services, home decor, vacations, clothing and more. Tracy Proctor will provide the decorations for the party.

Dance music will be provided by Massey Entertainment, a band fronted by league member Mary Frances Massey.

“We want everybody to come and enjoy,” Horton said.

Spring Variations and Vibrations kicks off a busy symphony weekend. The North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra welcomes guest pianist Andreas Klein for “Scandals, Drama and Enigmas,” the final show of the season.

The dress for the fundraiser is spring casual, and tickets can be purchased at the symphony office at the Link Centre, Reed’s Gift Shop and Stagg’s Interiors.
