Anderson-Tunnell

Kristy Robyn Anderson and Adam Jackson Tunnell announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Nelda Collins of Randolph and Benny Anderson of Woodland. She is the granddaughter of Irene Anderson of Houston and the late Fred Anderson, and the late Eulice and Josie Thompson of Randolph.

The prospective groom is the son of Jackie and Angela Tunnell of Houlka. He is the grandson of Derwood and Jerry McCullough of Houlka, and the late Wallace and Loyce Tunnell of Houlka.

The bride-elect is a graduate of South Pontotoc High School. She earned an associate of arts degree in computer science at Itawamba Community College, and a bachelor of science degree in computer science and a master of taxation degree, both from Mississippi State University. She is an accountant at T.E. Lott & Co. in Starkville.

The prospective groom is a graduate of South Pontotoc High School. He earned an associate of arts degree in computer information systems and an associate of applied science degree in computer servicing at Itawamba Community College. He is a technical engineer at Mid Range Systems in Saltillo.

Delores Johnston Hollowell of Yazoo City and Sidney Hollowell of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Kathleen Hollowell, to Justin Albert Horn, son of Dr. F. Lee and Dr. Teena Horn, and the late Laura Horn of Houston.

He is a 2002 graduate with highest honors from Mississippi State University with bachelor of science degrees in computer engineering and computer science. Sonia Farmer Swanson and Michael E. Wooldridge were united in marriage July 3, 2004, at the Mentone Wedding Chapel, located atop Lookout Mountain. The Rev. William P. Patterson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of A. Lamar Farmer of New Albany and Shirley Johnson of Tupelo. She is the granddaughter of the late Juanita S. Farmer of Tupelo and the late Earnest L. Farmer of McComb, and Molene Buskirk of Saltillo and the late Earl Buskirk.

The groom is the son of Shelbie Jean Jameson of Tupelo.

The bride wore a royal princess design satin gown embellished with antique lace and pearls, and a double satin grand chapel-length train.

Lori Petty was maid of honor. Kira Camille Swanson was flower girl.

David Wooldridge was best man. Tanner Chase Swanson was ringbearer.

A reception followed.

The couple honeymooned in the Smokey Mountains.

Myers-Pitts

Cathy Wood Myers of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and John Pitts of Tupelo were united in marriage June 12, 2004, at Central Christian Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Rev. Thomas McCracken officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ray and Susan Wood of Manchester, Tenn.

The groom is the son of Tennessee Pitts of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and the late R.L. Pitts Jr.

The bride wore a floor-length gown of diamond white satin with black floral appliques and a brush train.

The bride's daughters, Liz Myers and Carolyn Myers, both of Muscle Shoals, Ala., were bridesmaids. They wore knee-length skirts of layered pink organza with white tops and black accents.

Ted Rayburn of Nashville, Tenn., and Bob Pitts of Franklin, Tenn., were groomsmen.

A reception followed at Belle House in Murfreesboro.

The couple honeymooned in Asheville, N.C.
