What’s On Your iPod? 3/24

What’s on your iPod?

The Decemberists is one of my favorite bands, so the group’s new album, “The Hazards of Love” is new on my iPod. I can’t say I’ve listened to this record very closely – I’m lost on the concept album’s story – but I love how it sounds. So far, musically, this sounds amazing. I can’t wait to get some time so I can really grasp this record.

What’s about to be on my iPod is the debut album from Ida Maria. I heard about this punk/rock singer and checked out her first single, “I Like You So Much Better When You’re Naked.” I really love the sound of it, and I can’t wait to buy her new album, “Fortress ‘Round My Heart,” which is out today. Let me wrap up today’s What’s On Your iPod with a tip: Don’t forget to check amazon.com for its “Deal of the Day.” Last week I scored Jackson Browne’s classic record “The Pretender” for just $1.99, and an Al Green album was the same price the next day. Cheap, good music FTW!
