ICC offers ABE/GED training in Monroe County

Adult basic education/high school equivalency (ABE/GED) and ESL classes will begin at several locations throughout the Itawamba Community College five-county district, January 7-11. ABE/GED training locally will be at the WIN Center at the Monroe County Government Complex, Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Peggy Nash, Grace Sanderson; WIN Center – Monroe County Government Complex, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-noon, Grace Sanderson, Peggy Nash; Aberdeen Housing Authority, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30-11:30 a.m., Joann Brosky.th
The classes provide an opportunity for students to prepare for the GED test or to learn basic skills in reading or writing.
There is no charge for the classes. Books and other materials are furnished.
