MCSO released more information on aggravated assault case

Update: A new statement released Tuesday afternoon by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an earlier report regarding the Spenceshea Hampton arrest reveals more details of the incident, which occurred on Dec. 7.
Paul Woods, 44, of Aberdeen and Bradley Woods, 19, of Aberdeen have also been charged with aggravated assault. The assault happened in reference to a dispute over a dog. The resident, who’s name cannot be released at this time, was assaulted by Hampton, Paul Woods and Bradley Woods.
The resident was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Hampton and Paul and Bradley Woods were each charged with aggravated assault on Jan. 18. Bond was set for Paul Woods at $5,000.
Both Paul Woods and Bradley Woods have made bond and were released.
