Fidelia Club accepts applications for grants

AMORY – The Fidelia Club will award a community grant of up to $1,000. The organization is now accepting applications for grants for cultural, civic, educational, recreational or environmental projects.
The club will award up to $1,000, all or in part, to fund projects that a screening committee deems worthwhile and beneficial to the community.
This is the 13th year the club has provided these community grants. In past years, grants have been awarded to the Amory Humane Society, the Amory High School Health Cluster, “Glo Germ” project, Amory Main Street Association, Celebration Station, AHS Panorama Yearbook program, Mississippi Symphony Concert, Amory Regional Museum and the North Monroe County Community Fund.
Any individual or group may apply. Grant applications may be obtained from Amory Municipal Library, the Precious Possum or at any of the Amory School offices. Contact Martha Tubb at 256-3225 or 315-3225 for more information. Applications are due by March 1.
