Aberdeen Park and Rec. wins two awards at state conference

For the Monroe Journal

ABERDEEN – The Mississippi Recreation and Park Association held its annual conference in Jackson where the Aberdeen Park and Rec department won two awards for sports programming and event programming. Aberdeen Park and Rec director Tohona Larthridge and secretary Janet Parks learned a good bit while attending the conference.
“Networking with different park and recreation departments from across the state is essential in providing quality programming in the future,” Larthridge said.
