MCSO warns of mail scam

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office urges residents to be aware if anyone receive a FED-EX package in the mail containing a US Postal Service Money Order and a letter from a company called Presence Quality Control, USA. The letter states that the recipient has been selected to be a mystery shopper for Western Union  and that you should cash the money order and keep a $100 for themselves and to mail the remainder of the money to an address of Olivia Killick 401 Lamentin 54 City: Port Au Prince Country: Haiti. If any residents receive a letter like this, be sure to report it to your local law enforcement agency. Residents always be aware never to give out any of your personal information over the phone or through correspondence.
