Byrne featured for March booklunch

ABERDEEN – The monthly booklunch at Evans Memorial Library is scheduled for March 20 at noon. Guest speaker will be Mary Anne Doolittle Byrne, author of RECYCLED PETS ARE BEST. She will be introduced by Jim Crosby, chairman of Friends of the Library.
Byrne was born and reared in Webster County and for more than 40 years, she has been involved in rescuing animals. She worked for FedEx Express for 16 years, and also obtained an MBA in aviation. She then left corporate America to pursue her passion for writing, photography and helping animals.
Byrne published her book RECYCLED PETS ARE BEST to help raise money to pay vet bills and to buy food for shelter and rescue pets. This attempt was her way of showing how one person can make a difference in the lives of many unwanted, neglected and abused animals.
Byrne’s works have been published in SOARING SOCIETY OF AMERICA MAGAZINE, NORTH MISSISSIPPI CHRISTIAN FAMILY MAGAZINE, FedEx’s AOD TODAY and the Memphis Shelby County Humane Society Calendar.
Byrne’s next books RECYCLED PETS ARE BEST 2 and SAVING SAM are scheduled for publication this year.
Mary Anne is married to Reb Byrne and they reside in North Mississippi. Plan to attend the booklunch on March 20. A box lunch will be available for $6.
