JWL hosts Easter eggstravaganza at the Magnolias

ABERDEEN – The Junior Women’s League invites children 10 and younger to its Easter egg hunt March 23 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Magnolias. On top of hunting for eggs, the Easter bunny will be present for any parent wanting to take their child’s photos with him. There will be games like a bunny hop race and an egg in a spoon race. Refreshments will be served and every child will leave with a goodie bag.
“An Easter egg hunt has been done previously at the Magnolias by a business, but since they aren’t this year, we figured we could take up the responsibility for the kids of Monroe County,” said vice-president Abby Lann.
The cost of the JWL Easter egg hunt is $3 per child with proceeds going to the club’s general fund, which is awarded out to local entities at the end of the year. For more information, call 436-9296.
