Good luck on the exams and have a great holiday break!!

Ms. George’s 8th grade English classes wrote a letter to the troops. These letters were letters of encouragement for the holidays. Those will bring those soldiers great happiness and make them feel proud for serving their country!

Who’s Who photos were last Wednesday. The people who are Who’s Who are:

6th grade Favorite girls – Hannah Anderson, Holley Berryman, Avery Campbell, Elleigh Hall, Angelica Rhodes, Ali Sizemore, Farrah Speck, and Hanna Spencer. 6th grade Favorite boys are – Bryce Collins, Wesley Dodds, Dalton Hall, William Jumper, Chase Towery, Jacob Maxey, and Hayden Poer. 7th grade Favorite girls – Ryli Brown, Kristen Cochran, Shannon Goode, Emma Keener, Kelly Fay Mason, Kellie McClelland, Aspen Smith, and Lyndi Stokes. 7th grade Favorite boys – Kachius Clay, Spencer Day, Ben Foster, Alex Harrison, Danortis McWilliams, Read Robbins, and Walter Smith. 8th grade Favorite girls – Jodi Lyn Allred, Sarah Kathryn Cagle, Andrea Hall, Sara Beth Holt, Ashley Mason, Morgan Odle, Lauren Teague, and Maegan Trexler. 8th grade Favorite Boys – Riley Alef, Josh Creekmore, Easton Hall, Josh Hardin, Celebrity Howard, Montrell Pegues, Eli Tate, and John Holt Waldrop. Miss and Mr. are Mckinley Ranager and Lawrence Zinn. Congrats to you people on winning Who’s Who!

Softball tryouts are coming up after the holidays! The tryouts will be on the 3rd and 4th of January for any girl who wants to try out for fastpitch. Bring your a-game, and you’ll do just fine! All you need to do is bring your glove, and do your best!

We had a game last Thursday against Pontotoc. The 8th grade girls won, but the rest of the teams played a really hard game, but just missed the cut. Congrats and good luck to you on the rest of the season!

We had the NAMS band concert last Tuesday night at 7:00. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands played lovely Christmas compositions that really brought the Christmas spirit in all of us. Also, the chorus concert was last Thursday night. Our 7th and 8th grade chorus sang lovely songs that were simply beautiful.

Well, that is all I have for this week. There will be no news next week, because of the holidays. After the holidays, though, there will be even more news about good old NAMS! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and remember – YOU CAN’T HIDE THAT BULLPUP PRIDE!!!
