Vikings top Urchins in archery

East Union traveled to North Pontotoc for a historical first home match for the Vikings. Despite this being the first year of North Pontotoc’s archery program, the Vikings have dominated the sport and defeated the Urchins for the second time this season, 3070-2791.

Nicky Greszler led the Urchins shooting a 263, while Gage Davis was the top archer for the Vikings with a 281. North Pontotoc was dominant throughout the match, having only one score under 200.

The Urchins will next compete at Tupelo on March 29 before hosting South Panola on April 8.

Also, the Urchins’ in-county match-up against West Union has been moved from April 12 to April 15. The match will still take place at East Union.
