Congratulations to the North Pontotoc Viking football team for their win against Pontotoc.  They will play Lafayette High School in the 4A district playoffs.  Coach Brian Sutton has done an outstanding job with this young team.  We wish you continued success.

A Veteran’s Celebration will be held at the Community Center in Ecru, Saturday, Nov. 6. 

A Veteran’s parade will begin at Pannell Park at 10 a.m. and end at the Community Center.  

Lunch will be served for the Veterans and their families.

The Goodtimers met on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ecru Baptist Church. The speaker was Jason Harris.

Ecru Baptist Youth will travel to Tupelo to the Orchard for a concert presented by Brandon Heath and Jars of Clay on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Sympathy is extended to the Bobby Shettles family.  He passed away on Saturday.  Funeral arrangements were incomplete at this writing.

Friendship Baptist Church’s Marriage an Family Ministry will be going to see Mercy Me in concert Friday, November 5th at Bellevue.
