Brother and Mrs. Sammy Coker visited Sammy’s aunt Nannie Lee Coker during the week.

Ann Pannell visited one day during the week.  Hugh Edwards came and underpinned my mobile home.  It really looks nice and I thank him very much.

Betty Smith spent last week in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. with the seniors from Ellistown.  She along with the others had a wonderful time.

Donald Cook’s birthday was the Oct. 12  not the 20. Other birthdays are Shea Camp on Oct. 29, Sharon Chunn on Oct. 30, Hunter White on Oct. 31, Sandra Jones and Anthony Sanford on Nov. 3.

We had a good day at Palestine Baptist Church today.  Saturday will be Hallelujah time with a chili supper and candy rain.

The Pleasant Hill senior adults visited the sweet potato industry at Vardaman on Wednesday.  They had lunch at the Friend’s Place in Houston.  Those going were B. A. and Barbara Teague, Lorene Tollison, Edith Wilder, Margie Tate, Billy Mack Daniel, Jimmy and Sylvia McBryde, Harry and Shirley Norman, Annie Ruth White and Loretta Easley.  It was a very enjoyable day.

We send best wishes to Cynthia Reed and her family in her illness. Cynthia is in a hospital in Memphis with several blood clots. Here is hoping you feel much better today.

Donald and Brenda Watts spent last Sunday in Arkansas with his uncle at his church homecoming.  They had a good time.
