Registration still going on at Northeast

Classes for 2012 fall semester at Northeast Mississippi Community College began Thursday, but it’s not too late to register.

The last day to register for a day/evening class was Wednesday, Aug. 15, but E-learning (on-line) classes are available and registration will remain open until classes begin Monday, Aug. 20.

The Northeast Bookstore is located in the Haney Union and is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Financial aid is still available for those who qualify.

A special incentive scholarship is available for all who register for the 2012 Fall Semester at Northeast from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only on Monday, Aug. 13. Apply in the Admissions Office in Estes Hall.

Students not already enrolled at Northeast should report to the Office of Admissions in Estes Hall to begin the registration process. 

To expedite the registration process, students are asked to bring with them transcripts from high school and colleges previously attended, as well as ACT score.  Students who have not taken the ACT should visit the Northeast Counseling Center regarding the Residual ACT or call 662-720-7313.
