Ruby Kelton, 66

Ruby Kelton, 66, of Guntown, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center.

She was a retired factory worker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed a glass of iced tea and watching westerns on TV.

Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Kesler Funeral Home chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. Buddy Marshall officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery east of Booneville.

Survivors include one daughter, Jessie Hutchens (Dean) of Alpine; three sons, Richard Murdock and Wade Kelton, both of Alpine, and Jerry “Gerry” Kelton Jr. (Valerie) of Hills Chapel; two sisters, Sue Weathers of Lepanto, Ark., and Brenda Craig of Newark, Ark.; two brothers, Jimmy Curtiss of Cheyenne, Wyo., and James Curtiss of Lepanto, Ark.; and six grandchildren, Tracey, Connie and Craig Hutchens, Christian and Cameron Kelton, and Ruby Murdock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Curtiss, Alvin and Pearlie Stokes; two sisters and one brother; one daughter, Mary Kelton; and one son, Joseph Brown.

Pallbearers were Cameron Kelton, Charles Crosby, Craig Hutchens, Dustin Hall, Chase Hall, Ryan Kelley and Tracy Ryans.
