Glenn Hudspeth, 57

Bro. Glenn Autry Hudspeth, 57, of Walnut, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
He was born Dec. 18, 1955, to Joe Leslie and Cornell Autry Hudspeth in New Albany. He earned a bachelor of science degree from Mississippi State University and a minister of music degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was an IT manager at TCI Automotives in Ashland and a member of Tiplersville Baptist Church.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Ashland Baptist Church with Bro. Thomas Magers and Dr. Gerald Hodges officiating. Burial was in Ashland Cemetery. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sherri Lollar Hudspeth of Walnut; two daughters, Liza and Leslie Hudspeth, both of Walnut; his mother, Cornell Autry Hudspeth of Ashland; and one brother, Joe Alan Hudspeth (Deborah) of Tupelo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Leslie Hudspeth.
Pallbearers were Chris Hoffman, Mark Franz, Chris Robinson, David Bennett, Travis Smith and Stanley Poff. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons and men of Tiplersville Baptist Church and Ashland Baptist Church; and his friends and co-workers at TCI Automotive.
