Scott Treadaway, 48

Larry Scott Treadaway, 48, of Ecru, passed away in his sleep on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in Lafayette County.
He was born March 31, 1964, in Memphis to Larry Treadaway and Linda Treadaway. He was a furniture worker before becoming disabled. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at United Funeral Service chapel in New Albany with the Rev. Jonathan Baker and the Rev. Johnny Rakestraw officiating. Burial was in New Harmony Cemetery. United Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Treadaway of Ecru; his parents, Larry and Linda Treadaway of Blue Springs; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Holcomb of Thaxton; two sons, Craig Treadaway (Katherine) of Blue Springs and Joe Treadaway (Paige) of New Albany; a stepson, Chad Holcomb (Sarah) of Thaxton; two brothers, Dan Treadaway (Angie) of Pontotoc and Jason Treadaway of West Palm Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Presley McMillen, Coltan Flores, Aubrey Holcomb, Emma Flores, Braden Treadaway, Jude Holcomb, Kathryn Grace Treadaway and Sawyer Treadaway; and his paternal grandmother, Grace Martin.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Cary Treadaway, and his maternal grandparents, Murry and Annie Benefield.
