The Founder’s Day Committee will meet this Thursday, Jan. 17, at Town Hall to discuss the upcoming 125th celebration. Anyone interested in attending and helping plan the activities of this memorial occasion is very welcome. See you at 7 p.m.
The Sherman Baptist Men’s fellowship breakfast will be Sunday, Jan. 20, at 7 a.m.
L.T.C. (Leadership Training Conference) will be Saturday, Jan. 26, at Sherman Baptist Church. Training will be provided to all church leaders and teachers. Conferences will include Bible Teaching for Adults, Building an Effective Youth Ministry, Reaching Preschoolers and Children, Deacon Ministry training. It begins at 10:30 a.m. and concludes with lunch.
A Youth Rally will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, at 4 p.m. at Tri-County Baptist.
The Sherman Church of Christ youth attended the “Area-wide” youth devotional Sunday night, Jan. 13, at Pontotoc.
Former Sherman Church of Christ preacher Bro. Joe Connell is in Ghana, Africa, for the month of January.
The Sherman Church of Christ youths will have their youth devo next Sunday night, Jan. 20.
Sympathy is extended to Sherman Police Reserve Officer Ken Rainey and family in the death of his daughter, Kayce Elizabeth Rainey Brazil, 34, who died Monday, January 7, as the result of an automobile accident.
