Will Rutledge, 73

Will D. Rutledge, 73, of Etta, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 15, 1939, in New Albany, to James Franklin and Nona Lavelle Rutledge. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was a retired mechanic with Union County Maintenance. He liked working on antique tractors, going to tractor pulls and loved spending time with his family and grandkids.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Raines officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. United Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by four sons, Terry Potts (Cindy), Brian Rutledge, Doug Rutledge (Christy) and Brandon Rutledge, all of Etta; two brothers, Billy Dean Rutledge (Liz) of Etta and his twin brother, Robert Lee Rutledge (Shirley) of New Albany; and five grandchildren: Grace Rutledge, Grant Rutledge, Frank Rutledge, Santanna Potts and Chris Potts.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Sue Potts Rutledge; one sister, Darnell Cross; and three brothers, Loyd Rutledge, Boyd Rutledge and an infant brother.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Ponder, Ronnie Rutledge, Chauncey Rutledge, Jake Benefield, Anthony Brewer, Grant Rutledge, Chris Potts and Keith Brewer. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Hill, Alton Holden, Frank Rutledge and Bobby Barnes.
