Ann Glover, 70

Ann Ray Glover, 70, of Charlotte, N.C., died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at her home in Charlotte, N.C.
She was born Dec.12, 1942. She grew up in New Albany and graduated from Memphis State University. She lived in Memphis for almost 50 years before she moved to Charlotte, N.C., in 2010, to be with her family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her three grandchildren whom she adored.
She is survived by her mother, Eddie Lou Ray of New Albany; and her daughter, LeAnn Glover Sommerkamp (Kenny); and her three grandchildren, Ellie, Anna Davis and Mack Sommerkamp, all of Charlotte, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vardell Ray.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at First United Methodist Church in New Albany. United Funeral Service of New Albany was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis or to Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.
