Shirley Harper, 70

Shirley Joan Harper, 70, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany.
She was born Nov. 16, 1942, in Poinsett City, Ark., to Benny Eli Harper and Gertrude Seaburn Harper. She was a retired truck driver for FedEx. She was a Pentecostal.
Services were at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at United Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Jerry Lowery officiating. United Funeral Service in New Albany was in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her sons, Anthony Leon Stout of Jonesboro, Ark., Carl Timothy Stout (Jennifer) of Blue Springs, Jeffrey Ray Stout (Sonya) of Blue Springs and Kelly Dewayne Stout (Dana) of Blue Springs; a sister, Connie Fay Jones of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Bobby Ray Harper of Bath, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents; a sister, Sue Burger; and three brothers, J.D. Britton, Charles Junior Harper and Billy Harper.
