Singers needed

for Messiah’

The “Messiah Sing-Along” needs a few good singers.

Auditions will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at Harrisburg Baptist Church. Be prepared to sing a solo from “The Messiah.” An accompanist will be provided.

The free event will be presented at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Harrisburg Baptist Church.

Dance, raffle on Nov. 9

will help Red Cross

There will be a dance and raffle from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, to raise money for the American Red Cross.

The event will be held at The Zoo on South Gloster Street, and tickets are $10 at the door.

Tupelo sets date, time

for Christmas Parade

“Scenes from Christmas Music” will be the theme for the 53rd annual Tupelo Christmas Parade slated for Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. in Downtown Tupelo.

Entry applications for bands, churches, civic groups and others can be obtained at the Downtown Tupelo/Main Street Association office at 108 S. Broadway St. There’s a $10 entry fee, and the deadline to sign up is Wednesday, Nov. 7.
